Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect when I attend for the first time?
At Redeemer's, you'll experience a warm atmosphere and friendly greeting. The service features uplifting contemporary worship and Bible-based teaching. No need to feel anxious—we won't put you on the spot or ask you to introduce yourself in front of the crowd. Make sure to visit our Information Desk to get answers to your questions and pick up a special welcome gift!
What should I wear to a church service?
You'll find all sorts of styles here, from laid-back to business-ready. We think church is more about your inner self than your appearance. So, feel free to come just as you are!
How long does your service last?
Our morning services run for around 70 minutes and feature worship, teaching, and monthly communion.
Do you have classes for children and students?
Absolutely! We believe the best way for everyone to connect with Jesus is through age-appropriate settings. Redeemer's values kids and families, offering classes for children from birth to 5th grade during our 9:30 and 11:15AM services, as well as a Middle School group at 11:15AM in the Ministry Center. For families with newborns, we have a family room off the auditorium to engage with the service even with a sleeping baby or child with the wiggles.
Can I bring my pet or emotional support animal?
Out of consideration for others (space, allergies and comfort) we do not allow pets or emotional support animals in our facilities. Only registered service animals are permitted. A “service animal” is defined by the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) as a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. To register your service animal, please visit the Information Desk on your first visit.
What is the worship style like?
Our worship services create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere. We typically feature contemporary music led by a talented band, including guitars, drums, keyboards, and vocalists who encourage participation, with an emphasis on congregational singing. During our 8AM service we provide a more toned down version of this same style.
Our sermons focus on teaching directly from the Bible, aiming to apply its principles to everyday life. Each week, we dive into a specific passage or theme. We often do sermon series that explore a theme or book of the Bible over several weeks. This allows for deeper understanding and connection.
What can I expect in terms of sermon topics?
Absolutely! Before each service, we offer complimentary coffee and donuts, along with a coffee bar where you can buy a variety of coffee drinks, smoothies, and other delicious treats.
Is there coffee,
and more importantly, are there donuts?
